Firing Up the Smokers for a Cause: Meat With a Mission’s Rib & Bean Fundraiser for SIGN

At Meat With a Mission, we believe that great BBQ can do more than just satisfy cravings—it can change lives. That’s why we kicked off the year with our Rib & Bean Fundraiser, supporting Service In God’s Name (SIGN), our operating nonprofit organization. This event wasn’t just about serving up delicious food—it was about ensuring we have the resources to continue partnering with Baldwin County nonprofits that may not have the funds to front the cost of a cook.

Why This Fundraiser Matters

While many of our events directly support specific charities, this fundraiser helps keep Meat With a Mission running year-round. By covering operational costs, we can continue assisting local organizations that need a helping hand, ensuring that fundraising isn’t a barrier to their success.

With every $40 purchase of a full slab of slow-smoked ribs and a pint of homemade beans, supporters weren’t just getting a great meal—they were directly contributing to a mission that fuels generosity and community impact.

We sold over 195 tickets and raised money to further support those in need in Baldwin County. Your generosity helps us continue our mission, and we truly appreciate you for being a part of it.

We couldn’t have done it without the incredible support of our volunteers and donors. From firing up the smokers in the early hours to packing and distributing meals, every helping hand played a vital role in making this event a success.
